For contractors
A contractor website worth showing a client
Describe what you build and who for. Spanli puts up the site while you watch — services, photos of finished jobs, client reviews, the areas you cover, and a quote form that keeps every enquiry in one list.
You type “A joinery and building firm in Bergen — kitchens, extensions, finished properly” — and Spanli assembles the site in front of you: opening, what we do, finished work, quote request. The changes receipt reads: Added: 4 sections — opening, what we do, finished work, quote request.
Sound familiar?
Six hundred photos of finished work sit on your phone where nobody outside the van will ever see them.
The bigger jobs ask for a website before they'll ask for a quote, and you've been meaning to sort that since the extension back in March. Last month a job went to a firm whose work isn't a patch on yours — but whose site exists.
How it works
What Spanli does about it
In the demo beside each claim: the site Spanli built; then new quote request arriving in the Spanli inbox; then the call-out survey line being corrected — you click it, type “surveys are free now”, and 1 200 kr becomes Free.
Describe the business the way you'd describe it on site
"Extensions, loft conversions and full renovations, twelve years, we clean up after ourselves" builds a finished first draft in front of you.
Quote requests in one list
What the job is, where, and how to reach them — every enquiry waiting in your Spanli dashboard instead of split between texts, WhatsApp and a scrap of paper on the dash.
Change it from the van
Open the live site on your phone, tap a line, say what it should say. Published in seconds.
Everything on it
What your trade site includes
Your jobs, finally out of your phone
Upload the photos at the very first step with a note about each ("this is the kitchen extension in Riverside") and the site arranges them properly. Add the next job later in a couple of minutes.

The things that win jobs, said plainly
Insured, certified, fixed quotes, no surprise costs, when you can start — the section for what you stand for is there from the beginning, in your words.
It comes pre-chosen; you take out what you don't do
- An opening that says what you build
- Why clients pick you — insured, certified, tidy, on time
- Services and typical costs
- Photos of finished work
- Client reviews
- The areas you cover and when you're reachable
- A quote-request form
- Your crew, if you want them named
Two ways in
Start from what you already have
Describe door
The describe door is the usual route: two sentences, plus your job photos.
Modernize my site
Got a site from the year you started that you can't log in to change? "Modernize my site" rebuilds it from its address. Admire a big contractor's site? "Make me something like this site" borrows the feel — never their words.
Make it yours
Before the first build, you set the look.
- Quietly exceptionalElegant & refined
- The story, up frontBold & editorial
- Take a breathSoft & calm
- Built for the nightSleek & dark
- An evening to rememberGlamorous & vintage
- The season, consideredFashion magazine
In case you're wondering.
Can I show my past jobs without spending an evening on it?
Yes — that's what the first step is for. Drop in the photos, add a line about each, and the site lays them out. Later jobs get added the same way, in a couple of minutes, from your phone.
Do I have to publish prices?
No. Plenty of trades put "from" figures or a day rate; plenty put nothing and let the quote form do the work. Both are fine, and you can change your mind whenever.
Can I put my certifications and insurance on there?
They're text you write and edit yourself — trade body memberships, insurance cover, guarantees. Change them the day they renew.
I'm one person with a van, not a construction company.
Same site, smaller. Describe it as it is; the AI writes for what you actually do, not for a firm of forty. Nothing on the page will claim otherwise.
What does it cost?
Your first site is free. Paid plans add your own web address — searched and bought inside Spanli — and higher-quality build options.
