Do I need to know how to code?

Is the website really mine?
Yes. The words, the pictures and the site itself are yours, and so is the domain if you buy one here - it is registered in your name. Nothing you make is held hostage: your site is an ordinary website, not a page inside our app.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Search for a name and buy it inside Spanli, or keep one you already own where it is and point it here by pasting a single line at the company you bought it from. Connecting a domain to your site comes with a plan, the same as publishing does - you can buy the name on any plan, and it stays yours either way.
What if I don't like what it builds?
Say what's wrong in your own words, or click the thing on the page and tell it what should change. Every state of your site is kept, so if a change was a mistake you pick the old one from a list and it's restored.
Can Spanli build an online shop or an app?
No - and we'd rather say so than half-build one. Spanli makes sites that inform, persuade and collect enquiries. You can show a catalogue and take orders through a form, but there's no checkout and no logins for your visitors.
