Where the replies arrive
Enquiries wait for you in your project under Forms. Nothing is emailed to you, so checking the list needs to become a habit.
Everything sent through the form on your site lands in one list inside your project. It is captured the moment the visitor presses send and it waits there for you.
Finding it
Open your project and look down the side for Forms. Each form your site has is listed there by name — Contact, Enquiry, RSVP, whatever yours are called.
Click one and you get every message it has ever received, newest first, with the date. Click a message to read the whole thing.
If your list is long, it is paged rather than endless, and you can download the lot as a spreadsheet file with Download CSV — useful for an RSVP list you want to count, or for keeping your own copy.
Nobody emails you
This is the thing to know, and it is why it is said in three places in this help centre:
Spanli does not email you when an enquiry arrives. They wait in the list. Checking it has to be a habit, the way checking your messages is.
Pick a rhythm that matches how you get work — once a day for most small businesses, more often if enquiries are how your week fills up. Put it next to something you already do.
The one email Spanli does send is when a build has finished, if you ask for it.
Who else can see them
Anyone you have invited as an editor sees the same list, so someone else can answer them without getting anywhere near your card or your plan. See Inviting someone to help.
Junk and abuse
At the top of each form's page you can see its spam protection setting and how often one visitor is allowed to send it.
If junk starts arriving, ask in chat to turn on the "prove you're human" step — the small check a visitor passes before their message goes through.
They keep arriving while you work
Rebuild the entire site this afternoon: messages sent during it are still collected, and still there when you finish. Editing your site does not take your form off the air.
How many you can receive
The free plan takes 50 a month, Pro 5,000, and Business has no limit. For most small businesses 50 is more than a busy month. See Plans and credits.
