My site says "Coming soon"

You have opened your site and found a page that says "Coming soon — something amazing is on the way."

Nothing is broken. That page is the placeholder every brand-new project starts with, and it is replaced the moment your first build finishes. Seeing it means the build has not put your real home page there yet.

Work out which situation you are in

You just created the project and the first build is still running. Normal. The first build takes a few minutes. Open your project and watch it in the chat — the preview beside it fills in as the pages land. Nothing for you to do but wait.

The build finished, but you are looking at the published site. Also common, and the most likely answer if you were sent a link. The public version of your site only changes when you publish it, so a site that has never been published still serves the placeholder even though your draft is finished. Press Publish. The build stopped part way. Then the placeholder is still there because nothing replaced it. Look at the chat: it will say what happened rather than leaving you guessing. See When the build stops.

The quick check

Open your project and look at the preview beside the chat.

• The preview shows your real site → your site is fine; you have not published it yet.
• The preview also says "Coming soon" → the first build has not finished, or it stopped. Read the chat.

If the preview is your site but the published one is not

Publish, wait a minute or two, then open the published address again — and refresh the page properly rather than trusting what your phone had already loaded. Browsers hold on to pages they have seen before, and that alone accounts for a fair share of "it did not work".

Still stuck

Ask in the chat: "my site still shows the coming soon page." It can look at what is actually there and tell you which of the above it is.
